Júlio Gentil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Barış Akdoğ skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 5th minute, Generoso Silvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barış Akdoğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th minute, José Vilhena had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 11 minutes into the game, Durval Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matos Velhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raichu JK the free kick. Raichu JK's Şahin Muammer was substituted for José Vilhena. In the 12th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Meira to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Barış Akdoğ managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Matos Velhos's Júlio Gentil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Müfit came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Müfit in the 20th minute of play. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahin Muammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 28th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Silvino to maneuver through the defense. Şahin Muammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vito de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kay Oppenheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Gentil in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barış Akdoğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Festa in the 40th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Gentil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barış Akdoğ having to make a save. Raichu JK's Barış Akdoğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Raichu JK from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Adalberto Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matos Velhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barış Akdoğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şahin Muammer to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Vilhena in the 51st minute of play forced Raichu JK's goalkeeper Barış Akdoğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Gentil in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barış Akdoğ saved Raichu JK from getting behind. Galip İmamoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Júlio Gentil might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barış Akdoğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Gentil ran back to his position shaking his head. Barış Akdoğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Gentil, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Barış Akdoğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Gentil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Gentil in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barış Akdoğ saved Raichu JK from getting behind. Barış Akdoğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Gentil's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Matos Velhos's Júlio Gentil in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raichu JK's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Gentil. Matos Velhos's Lee Beckford was substituted for Henrique Candal. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Karl Nietlisbach replaced Sabino Vilhena. Matos Velhos made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Festa got free with Vito de Godoi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raichu JK's Barış Akdoğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 75th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Matos Velhos's corner Tord Böcklund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Barış Akdoğ quite easily take care of the ball. Barış Akdoğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 80th minute of the match. Barış Akdoğ came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Júlio Gentil. But to his dismay, Júlio Gentil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Raichu JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
