After 5 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Favoretto. The supporters of Bairoletto FC booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense got control of the ball when Israel Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jurand Bryk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar in the 21st minute of play. Rogério Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Sadurni in the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marinos Androulakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurand Bryk was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marinos Androulakis sped through Bairoletto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jurand Bryk. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Rogério Paraense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jurand Bryk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Bairoletto FC's Nereo Norino got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bairoletto FC's zone, Flavinho Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurand Bryk came out of the goal and Flavinho Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 52nd minute Marinos Androulakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Bryk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Diego Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jurand Bryk. Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Rogério Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Satordi in the 68th minute of the match. Rogério Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Bernard in the 73rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Albano Pueblo put in a rough tackle. Rogério Paraense came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Bairoletto FC's Diego Satordi. But to his dismay, Diego Satordi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Bairoletto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Bernard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Paraense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Zandarin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zandarin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
