The referee ignored FC RAJADA's protests and gave Niolaao Viya a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC RAJADA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Niolaao Viya hit a great ball. Sun Lei Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杨翔洲 in the 11th minute of the match. If 杨翔洲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Adem Müller got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sun Lei Feng made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when 杨翔洲 sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adem Müller got free with Sun Lei Feng in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedrão Trigo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 杨翔洲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of 广州太阳神足球俱乐部 booed when FC RAJADA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niolaao Viya to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adem Müller in the 51st minute of play forced FC RAJADA's goalkeeper Sun Lei Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, 袁广霆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC RAJADA defense, 崔旭平 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sun Lei Feng. The FC RAJADA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sun Lei Feng should have stopped the shot. FC RAJADA's Sun Lei Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 崔旭平 in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC RAJADA's zone, 魏骋耀 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sun Lei Feng came out of the goal and 魏骋耀 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedrão Trigo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. 庞辰延 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC RAJADA. 柳益适 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sun Lei Feng having to interfere. Sun Lei Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杨翔洲 in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 崔旭平 in the 77th minute of play forced FC RAJADA's goalkeeper Sun Lei Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC RAJADA's Sun Lei Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adem Müller in the 83rd minute of play. Sun Lei Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 崔旭平, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute 杨翔洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sun Lei Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
