Edward Sitko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Kossakowski came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Kossakowski got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcelo Barovero handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Marcelo Barovero made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Wasyl Cipinski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Pavlo Paraschiy got a free kick in the 12th minute. Myroslav Akymenko struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Edward Sitko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ruh Lviv. Edward Sitko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Myroslav Akymenko's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Chumo Palmero's late challenge caught a IGloopoL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chumo Palmero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Faiz Zuelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Kaider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chumo Palmero in the 24th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hieronim Kaider went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the game, Jacek Mlekodaj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IGloopoL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ruh Lviv the free kick. 33 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's Chumo Palmero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Sitko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When FC Ruh Lviv's Chumo Palmero in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IGloopoL's goalie prevented a goal. FC Ruh Lviv were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after IGloopoL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vyacheslav Androsenko took the corner. FC Ruh Lviv's Vyacheslav Androsenko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Sitko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hieronim Kaider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Barovero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myroslav Akymenko in the 47th minute of play forced IGloopoL's goalkeeper Edward Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chumo Palmero made a kick off. FC Ruh Lviv's attentive Zeng Sang Xing managed to snatch the ball when Jacek Mlekodaj made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Kaider, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Chumo Palmero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Edward Sitko made a huge save. Edward Sitko came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko. But to his dismay, Myroslav Akymenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 66 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Faiz Zuelle came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Iigo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Iigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, IGloopoL's Ivan Iigo got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 69th match minute, IGloopoL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Iigo to maneuver through the defense. Vyacheslav Androsenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Myroslav Akymenko notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of IGloopoL's Edward Sitko. Edward Sitko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Myroslav Akymenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Myroslav Akymenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ruh Lviv's supporters rose to their feet, but Myroslav Akymenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Sitko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Kossakowski came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Myroslav Akymenko came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Ruh Lviv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myroslav Akymenko couldn't finish the play. The IGloopoL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Ruh Lviv's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Ruh Lviv.
