After 11 minutes, Andres Oper made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gnesta Oilers's Patrick Eliasson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Oper in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. John Dahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Patrick Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Oper in the 25th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Patrick Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andres Oper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Urbano Cevallo hit a great ball. When Torbjörn Alin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnesta Oilers's protests and gave Torbjörn Alin a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Alin. After 36 minutes of play, Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Eliasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Berggren during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Thomas Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Patrick Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Karl-Ove Söderström made the kick off in the second half. Hagbard Ribov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Andres Oper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Eliasson. Gnesta Oilers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Oper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 62 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Patrick Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Patrick Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Strib Galacticos IF got a corner. Gnesta Oilers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mike Tyson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gnesta Oilers's goalie and right to Hagbard Ribov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gnesta Oilers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mircea Mihele's late challenge caught a Gnesta Oilers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mircea Mihele helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Mihele to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Oper in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Eliasson saved Gnesta Oilers from getting behind. Strib Galacticos IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
