Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) An unexpectedly hard shot by David Talamanca in the 3rd minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Talamanca in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Iurașcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, David Talamanca made a precise shot to the right of Aron Iurașcu. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 18th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liu Yong Yong made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Filip Panțuru sent off a good shot on target. Aron Ciorăscu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Filip Panțuru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Yong Yong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Steaua Bucuresti -MM- were awarded a corner. Ferdinand Vasiliu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ferdinand Vasiliu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Liu Yong Yong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Medina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OROTINENSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua Bucuresti -MM- the free kick. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Reinaldo Medina hit a great ball. Filip Panțuru did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Liu Yong Yong 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Noel Sanvicente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OROTINENSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua Bucuresti -MM- the free kick. In the 34th minute, Noel Sanvicente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Răduleț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aron Ciorăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liu Yong Yong made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Filip Panțuru sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Panțuru got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s corner Ferdinand Vasiliu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liu Yong Yong quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half OROTINENSE were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Ciorăscu was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the OROTINENSE defense, Gheorghe Cunea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liu Yong Yong. The OROTINENSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liu Yong Yong should have stopped the shot. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 56th minute of play. The corner led Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Ferdinand Vasiliu to fire away a dangerous shot which Liu Yong Yong despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute Gheorghe Cunea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Yong Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Ciorăscu came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Emil Cernea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Capătă kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Walczak in the 67th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Filip Panțuru. But to his dismay, Filip Panțuru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute David Talamanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Iurașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Panțuru, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Iordache Opincaru replaced Jacek Walczak. After 84 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Minor Talamanca. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Filip Panțuru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Panțuru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Yong Yong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Răduleț in the 86th minute of play. David Talamanca scored 4-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Iurașcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 92nd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Minor Talamanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Steaua Bucuresti -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while OROTINENSE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
