Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ola Rydberg started the match with the kick off. Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 10th minute of play. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Remigio Quirze tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kenneth Käcker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Ruquense FC's Kenneth Käcker threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remigio Quirze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kenneth Käcker made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Basilio Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Ciemiega. François-Xavier Dionnet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Rydberg's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Norberto Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François-Xavier Dionnet having to interfere. Norberto Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ola Rydberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over François-Xavier Dionnet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Rydberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Arye Suryoye got a freekick which was hit by Ola Rydberg. Ola Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but François-Xavier Dionnet made a huge save. Ola Rydberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but François-Xavier Dionnet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Arye Suryoye got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Cerezo. Kenneth Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet got control of the ball when Ola Rydberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Fernandez came free, but Kenneth Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Norberto Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. François-Xavier Dionnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arye Suryoye's Valdemar Beckeman was substituted for Ola Rydberg. After 81 minutes of play, Ruquense FC's Remigio Quirze made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Käcker was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 87th minute of play forced Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ruquense FC had played much better football throughout.
