Victor Ologu was a little too slow when Idar Reistad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Dinulescu got free with Victor Ologu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Phoenix Strikers's Idar Reistad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Eftimiu in the 41st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Olimpiu Mustea took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Victor Ologu to make any attempt to save it. Victor Ologu came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Strikers's Idar Reistad. But to his dismay, Idar Reistad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Traian Moldovan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Andrițoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Mustea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Victor Ologu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Moldovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
