Fidel Blunt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Micky Capusotto having to make a save. The Astral fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Astral's Fidel Blunt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene defense, Bartlomiej Chazen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Micky Capusotto. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Micky Capusotto should have stopped the shot. Bartlomiej Chazen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micky Capusotto having to interfere. Mieszko Werra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micky Capusotto having to interfere. Micky Capusotto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Kochniarczyk in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Bartlomiej Chazen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Micky Capusotto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Micky Capusotto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Kochniarczyk in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Salvador Urtungo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Suarez to maneuver through the defense. Micky Capusotto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Blunt went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Corderun was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Fidel Blunt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Micky Capusotto. Fidel Blunt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's zone, Fidel Blunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Micky Capusotto came out of the goal and Fidel Blunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliciano Silvino hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Beppe Colombi had several of the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Micky Capusotto as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Astral's Fidel Blunt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Micky Capusotto. That made the score 0-9 after 65 minutes of play. In the 68th minute Bartlomiej Chazen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micky Capusotto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
