Eliodor Arnăuțoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Victor Ologu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Guimarães came free, but Victor Ologu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Magno Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ologu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelian Voineag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Oliveira having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caco Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Albertinho de Andrade got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-10. 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Magno Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ologu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
