In the 23rd minute Ovidiu Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Olando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Traian Moldovan made the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Olando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Mustea in the 54th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Eufemio couldn't finish the play. Eric Aanuţei hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Aanuţei to maneuver through the defense. Lino Gumaro lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 84th minute, one of PARA QUE TE TRAJE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PARA QUE TE TRAJE. The goalkeeper, Prudencio Olando, was totally fooled by Phoenix Strikers's Olimpiu Mustea, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 92nd minute, Faustino Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Traian Moldovan got free with Prudencio Olando in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Orlanda charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Orlanda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
