Karen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvin Svanberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Karen FC's Oskar Sandell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Axel Ros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Tscherner's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Axel Ros stood somewhat misplaced when Edgar Tscherner came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. In the 18th minute SK Au shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Edgar Tscherner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Tscherner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Tscherner got free with Axel Ros in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Tscherner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Axel Ros. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ingvar Lindqvist in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Karen FC's Bai Yan Feng. Pajala Sunrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Tscherner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Axel Ros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Tscherner. Edgar Tscherner struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Axel Ros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karen FC. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Welle in the 42nd minute of play. Axel Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Tscherner, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, SK Au notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Tscherner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game Per-Arne Svartengren did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ingvar Lindqvist. Karen FC's Rickard Lövkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karen FC's attentive Bai Yan Feng managed to snatch the ball when Ingvar Lindqvist made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Edgar Tscherner might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axel Ros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Tscherner ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Tscherner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Ros having to interfere. Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Nordström in the 64th minute of play. Edgar Tscherner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Axel Ros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Axel Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Svanberg in the 71st minute of the match. Karen FC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Pajala Sunrise's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rickard Lövkvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gustaf Hedman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axel Ros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Well-Well Welle tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tscherner came free, but Axel Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Lindqvist during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ingvar Lindqvist hit a great ball. After 80 minutes, Bai Yan Feng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karen FC and the Pajala Sunrise players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute of the match, Well-Well Welle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ma Yong Jun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Edgar Tscherner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Ros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvin Svanberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Tscherner in the 94th minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Axel Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Edgar Tscherner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Ros came out of the goal and Edgar Tscherner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Karen FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
