But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Ermano couldn't finish the play. Breno Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Mancinelli in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Samsunspor got a corner. FF Forever's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vinicio Cordeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ettore Mancinelli made a great header on Samsunspor's corner, it was just that FF Forever's Breno Brodel managed to reach the ball for a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ettore Mancinelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benigno Jusepe scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jardel de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FF Forever would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
