Spectators: 7456 (Terracing: 5593, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) A A Arizona's Lyuboslav Penev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Teodosio Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyuboslav Penev in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Deportivo Messina got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Guillerme. Maicon Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maicon Cavalcante hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Ascencio in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hu Zhen Hong saved A A Arizona from getting behind. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyuboslav Penev in the 22nd minute of play. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. Yuriy Babushkin came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by A A Arizona's Lyuboslav Penev. But to his dismay, Lyuboslav Penev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Lyuboslav Penev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuriy Babushkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience was convinced that Lyuboslav Penev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuriy Babushkin was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 minutes, Alvaro Perfecto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Messina and the A A Arizona players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Alvaro Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Lyuboslav Penev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Messina's Yuriy Babushkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Hector Jerardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Messina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Deportivo Messina's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Pereira came free, but Yuriy Babushkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A A Arizona made a substitution. Tiago Gabriel de Sousa replaced Vitinho do Valle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Ascencio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Cordario in the 53rd minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuriy Babushkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyuboslav Penev in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Messina's Yuriy Babushkin got control of the ball when Natã Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Luis Cordario notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong. Hu Zhen Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Jerardo in the 61st minute of play. Lyuboslav Penevs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Yuriy Babushkin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyuboslav Penev in the 68th minute of play forced Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper Yuriy Babushkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well done corner resulted in Ulysses Vergílio drilling the ball in to score 3-3 behind Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper. A A Arizona's Lyuboslav Penev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yuriy Babushkin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Pereira in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Babushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Messina's goal looked a bit too open when Lyuboslav Penev came free, but Yuriy Babushkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyuboslav Penev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Lyuboslav Penev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuriy Babushkin was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Hector Jerardo notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong. Hu Zhen Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hector Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hu Zhen Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Messina. Gervasio Larra kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Lyuboslav Penev came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the A A Arizona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyuboslav Penev couldn't finish the play. Maicon Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Deportivo Messina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
