An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Jerardo in the 20th minute of play forced FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Oliver Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Messina's Yuriy Babushkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Messina from getting a goal against them. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of FF Små Gröna Män booed when Deportivo Messina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Claes Siggman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Messina's Yuriy Babushkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deportivo Messina's Hector Jerardo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Jerardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Friberger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Jerardo ran back to his position shaking his head. 97 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Oliver Friberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Jerardo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Messina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FF Små Gröna Män.
