Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Téo Mello started the match with the kick off. The Arrows Academy FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Arrows Academy FC's Marty Simpson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice moves Grzegorz Piechna could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Eliseo Moreno however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Cup2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koldo Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesús Solano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Piechna in the 24th minute of play. Ged Nightingale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cup2 from getting a goal against them. Téo Mello took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ged Nightingale. Ged Nightingale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eliseo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Simpson in the 40th minute of play. Arrows Academy FC's Larry Ferrell got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Piechna in the 45th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marty Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grzegorz Piechna was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Grzegorz Piechna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Eliseo Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Simpson in the 54th minute of the match. Ged Nightingale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Eliseo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Ferrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Simpson in the 62nd minute of play. Eliseo Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Eliseo Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marty Simpson went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eliseo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Piechna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Larry Ferrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Simpson in the 81st minute of play. Larry Ferrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Marty Simpson notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cup2's Eliseo Moreno. Eliseo Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Piechna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Moreno was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
