In the 20th minute Honorio Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Finninge Fotboll getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Arvin Wallin hit a great ball. David Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rudolf Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Honorio Ferdinand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Åberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rudolf Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Ferdinand went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Rudolf Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Macias in the 37th minute. Joel Macias struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rudolf Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CanarioMza. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Bemabe got free with Rudolf Åberg in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Henriksson in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Marco Chuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Ferdinand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Åberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of CanarioMza booed when Finninge Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Joel Macias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Åberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Honorio Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CanarioMza's Loco Fillol got control of the ball when Mårten Henriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Åberg having to interfere. CanarioMza were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Finninge Fotboll's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulino Ur took the corner. In the 90th minute, Honorio Ferdinand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudolf Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that CanarioMza were the better team. CanarioMza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
