CanarioMza's Marco Chuse got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Marco Chuse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CanarioMza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe the free kick. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when CanarioMza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metehan Aurelio to maneuver through the defense. Marco Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfü Mürsel having to interfere. Lütfü Mürsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lütfü Mürsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Ferdinand in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mahir Uyun hit a great ball. Lütfü Mürsel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Ferdinand's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Loco Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odir Bautista in the 77th minute of the match. Honorio Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lütfü Mürsel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CanarioMza. Honorio Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lütfü Mürsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Dorival Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
