In the 45th minute of the match, Joaquin Cambiasso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robby Tuttle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Cambiasso was the one to do the kick off. During this time The Wolfpack™'s players had a chance to rest. The Wolfpack™'s Garcilaso Acosta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anibal Cambiasso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Joaquin Cambiasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Although BAIRES had been in control for most of the match, The Wolfpack™ still came away with the win.
