The referee showed Dorival Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dorival Alagoano hit a great ball. David Bemabe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Lütfü Mürsel made a huge save. The supporters of CanarioMza booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyzullay Taşboğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Paulino Ur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lütfü Mürsel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Ferdinand went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Metehan Aurelio got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, CanarioMza's goal looked a bit too open when Metehan Aurelio came free, but Loco Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
