Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Hans Curtis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Saturnino Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Paraszczuk in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Zbigniew Paraszczuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Saturnino Txartiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yuan Jian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hans Curtis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Valentin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnino Txartiko. Saturnino Txartiko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Cahit Eker could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Hans Curtis however easily saved by the left post. In the 36th minute, Julio-César Dely Valdés got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cahit Eker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Curtis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Paraszczuk notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Academia Club's Saturnino Txartiko. Saturnino Txartiko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Cabral came free, but Saturnino Txartiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Marques hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Yancho Motev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saturnino Txartiko skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute VN FC Spartak-Varna were awarded a corner. Yancho Motev went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbigniew Paraszczuk to make the kick off. Saturnino Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Paraszczuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Academia Club defense, Ademar Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Txartiko. The Academia Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Txartiko should have stopped the shot. Saturnino Txartiko made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Zbigniew Paraszczuk sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbigniew Paraszczuk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saturnino Txartiko. That made the score 0-7 in the 60 minute of play. Hans Curtis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cahit Eker, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Hans Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahit Eker in the 75th minute of play. Hans Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio-César Dely Valdés in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Julio-César Dely Valdés ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Curtis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio-César Dely Valdés in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Curtis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Saturnin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Saturnino Txartiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Cabral in the 91st minute of the match. Danny Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Txartiko came out and tried to block the shot, but Danny Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 94th minute.
