In the 23rd match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doctor Potass to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbigniew Paraszczuk in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olof Skretting saved Cheeky Nuts United from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Fabian Lundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Curtis was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. A collision led to VN FC Spartak-Varna getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Zbigniew Paraszczuk made the kick off in the second half. Hans Curtis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Lundberg's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Jon-Erik Vedøy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hans Curtis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute of the match, Fabian Lundberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hans Curtis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Olof Skretting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Valentin in the 68th minute of the match. When Benjamin Lundgren fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VN FC Spartak-Varna's protests and gave Benjamin Lundgren a yellow card for diving instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Jon-Erik Vedøy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
