Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabian Lundberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ivan Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Fabian Lundberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hortensia FCG's Melquiades Firman. Melquiades Firman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doctor Potass scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Firman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Iraido came free, but Olof Skretting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Skretting didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Urdin went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Hortensia FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Erik Vedøy came free, but Melquiades Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Lundberg in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Firman saved Hortensia FCG from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Hortensia FCG's zone, Fabian Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Firman came out of the goal and Fabian Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes of play, Cheeky Nuts United's Fabian Lundberg made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Firman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Hortensia FCG defense, Jon-Erik Vedøy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Firman. The Hortensia FCG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Firman should have stopped the shot. Alf Austad took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Firman. Melquiades Firman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Hortensia FCG's Melquiades Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Austad in the 32nd minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hortensia FCG! In the 40th minute, Fabian Lundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. Fabian Lundberg scored 1-10 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Firman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alf Austad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Quico made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Delmar Quico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Stathis Konstantakis took a quick shot and it went in 1-11 without a chance for Melquiades Firman to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute, Doctor Potass ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Firman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. In the 68th minute, Jon-Erik Vedøy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-14. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jon-Erik Vedøy put it in 1-15 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Firman. Melquiades Firman was a little too slow when Doctor Potass got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-17. Melquiades Firman made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jon-Erik Vedøy sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Melquiades Firman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melquiades Firman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon-Erik Vedøy went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-18 was the resulting score. Melquiades Firman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Lundberg had several of the Hortensia FCG's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-20 score and a disappointed Melquiades Firman as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 94th minute Stathis Konstantakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon-Erik Vedøy took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Firman. Melquiades Firman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-21. When the final whistle sounded Cheeky Nuts United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hortensia FCG.
