The audience was convinced that Igor Cristofor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Melfi was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Igor Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Melfi having to interfere. Areco FC's Agustin Abaunza got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shoval Diggs in the 22nd minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Abaunza in the 23rd minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Damiano Melfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Sendoa in the 26th minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Damiano Melfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benja Dominguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Damiano Melfi made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goalkeeper Damiano Melfi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Abaunza. Damiano Melfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Abaunza in the 34th minute of play. If Levi Schaap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Sheep United's Damiano Melfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Abaunza in the 37th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Damiano Melfi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Areco FC defense, Shoval Diggs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Urtats. The Areco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Urtats should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shoval Diggs to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Igor Cristofor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Antonio Parra to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes of play, Areco FC's Benja Dominguez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damiano Melfi was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benja Dominguez in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Melfi saved Sheep United from getting behind. After some careless play in the Sheep United defense, Agustin Abaunza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damiano Melfi. The Sheep United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damiano Melfi should have stopped the shot. After 66 played minutes Sheep United got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sidoro. If Benja Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Mucci kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Igor Cristofor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Melfi. Sheep United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Cristofor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Sheep United's Shoval Diggs got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shoval Diggs in the 80th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Abaunza came free, but Damiano Melfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Aquiles Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Melfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Antonio Parra in the 90th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nói Ado hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Antonio Parra came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Agustin Abaunza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damiano Melfi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Areco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sheep United for a fine match.
