An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kanetos in the 5th minute of play forced FC Partizan Tirana's goalkeeper Kıraç Ak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Augusto Landero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıraç Ak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasos Papadis might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kıraç Ak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nasos Papadis ran back to his position shaking his head. Kıraç Ak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Landero in the 11th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Dashamir Januzaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Seichanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Ilias Seichanidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augusto Landero dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Laze Lumani made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Partizan Tirana's zone, Lambis Talitsikas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 55 played minutes FC Partizan Tirana got a freekick which was hit by Nazmi Naço. Augusto Landero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Kıraç Ak made a huge save.
