The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jumentus Rock Club's Reinaldo Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damiano Melfi made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Josué Souto sent off a good shot on target. Davide Talone hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Rômulo Freire made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Melfi. Sheep United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Reinaldo Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Damiano Melfi made a huge save. Sheep United's Damiano Melfi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sheep United from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Jumentus Rock Club's goal looked a bit too open when Shoval Diggs came free, but Tomás Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shoval Diggs in the 21st minute of play. José Antonio Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tomás Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Melfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Souto in the 23rd minute of play. Jumentus Rock Club's Tomás Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Antonio Parra in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Talianu to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Arce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damiano Melfi came out and tried to block the shot, but Reinaldo Arce slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sheep United's zone, Paulinho Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Melfi came out of the goal and Paulinho Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damiano Melfi made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Vagner Løve sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sheep United's José Antonio Parra got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Talianu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Talianu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Talianu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Arce in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Melfi saved Sheep United from getting behind. Damiano Melfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Souto in the 59th minute of the match. Damiano Melfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Melfi having to interfere. Shoval Diggs took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Ceresso. Tomás Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jumentus Rock Club's Nestor de Souza was substituted for Josué Souto. Damiano Melfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Arce in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor de Souza came free, but Damiano Melfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jumentus Rock Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sheep United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
