With an all-out effort, Jumentus Rock Club's Ilias Seichanidis threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Josué Souto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ilias Seichanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vagner Løve in the 13th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Jumentus Rock Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vagner Løve to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Jumentus Rock Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Coutinho. In a very dangerous position, a player in ΟΦΗ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Ilias Seichanidis had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Vagner Løve's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ilias Seichanidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vagner Løve went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

ΟΦΗ made a substitution. Akis Karaoulanis replaced Nikos Kanetos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nasos Papadis was the one to do the kick off. Ilias Seichanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Paulinho Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Seichanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jumentus Rock Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. ΟΦΗ's Akis Karaoulanis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomás Ceresso but with some difficulty. Ilias Seichanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, 林伟风 threw the ball into play from the sideline. ΟΦΗ's Apostolis Kalopoulos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Augusto Landero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tomás Ceresso made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Vagner Løve came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Bletsios kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jumentus Rock Club made a substitution. Osvaldinho da Silva replaced Vagner Løve. Jumentus Rock Club's Nestor de Souza was substituted for Josué Souto. In the 86th match minute, Jumentus Rock Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 林伟风 to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Jumentus Rock Club booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Landero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Arce came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor de Souza in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilias Seichanidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
