The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Partizan Tirana's Kıraç Ak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Partizan Tirana from getting a goal against them. Benedict Baird might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kıraç Ak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedict Baird ran back to his position shaking his head. Kıraç Ak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maore Tejerina, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dashamir Januzaj in the 12th minute of play. Maore Tejerina took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kıraç Ak. Kıraç Ak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. FC Partizan Tirana's Kıraç Ak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Bonifaco in the 20th minute of play. Harald Strener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the FC Partizan Tirana defense, Victorino Bonifaco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kıraç Ak. The FC Partizan Tirana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kıraç Ak should have stopped the shot. Kıraç Ak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Bonifaco in the 30th minute of the match. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dashamir Januzaj in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to FC Partizan Tirana getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Claude Theron hit a great ball. Kıraç Ak made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Victorino Bonifaco sent off a good shot on target. Harald Strener hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, FC Partizan Tirana's goalkeeper Kıraç Ak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedict Baird. A nice corner shot did that Maore Tejerina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kıraç Ak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Bonifaco to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Bonifaco in the 54th minute of play forced FC Partizan Tirana's goalkeeper Kıraç Ak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Strener in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FC Partizan Tirana's goal looked a bit too open when Benedict Baird came free, but Kıraç Ak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kıraç Ak came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Victorino Bonifaco. But to his dismay, Victorino Bonifaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Ospetsu Villagarcia replaced Benedict Baird. After 80 played minutes, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Alessandro Manzanal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kıraç Ak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Resistencia Tayrona FC reached it. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taurino Hernaiz in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kıraç Ak saved FC Partizan Tirana from getting behind. Dashamir Januzaj charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dashamir Januzaj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Partizan Tirana's Dashamir Januzaj got a free kick in the 84th minute. Kıraç Ak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taurino Hernaiz in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Dashamir Januzaj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Partizan Tirana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 90 minutes, Nestor Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resistencia Tayrona FC and the FC Partizan Tirana players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Resistencia Tayrona FC had won after a very even match.
