The ΟΦΗ fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when ΟΦΗ's Augusto Landero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Azibar to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Sanchez got free with Ilias Seichanidis in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC CERBEROS! The referee gave ΟΦΗ a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nikos Kanetos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim. 5-0. In the 66th minute, Augusto Landero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Joachim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Landero in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nasos Papadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Joachim was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Landero in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Augusto Landero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΟΦΗ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Landero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Nasos Papadis got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lisandro Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, ΟΦΗ's Nikos Kanetos tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes AFC CERBEROS got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Chinto. 95 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Papadis came free, but Mauro Joachim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Urbano Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
