The crowd rose to their feet as Valdir Varela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nelson Cloarec. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Formation Pure Lyonnaise from getting a goal against them. Jânio Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nelson Cloarec made a huge save. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Jânio Mendes scored to the left of an out of position Nelson Cloarec, making the score, 3-0. Léonard Laumond's late challenge caught a Irreal Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léonard Laumond helped the player get up and apologised. Léonard Laumond kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Secco in the 28th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Mendes came free, but Nelson Cloarec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nelson Cloarec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Irreal Madrid's Rodolfo Trigo. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspard Letourneux came free, but Noel Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Trigo in the 46th minute of play. Irreal Madrid's Matheus Dionísio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nelson Cloarec in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Mendes was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Alfredo Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Cloarec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Jânio Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Secco in the 59th minute of the match. Alfredo Secco took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Jânio Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Cloarec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Jânio Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. Pascal Collon charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascal Collon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Matheus Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Bernard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 93rd minute, Acácio Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irreal Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Irreal Madrid walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
