Armandinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed-Ali Duparc in the 16th minute of the match. Arí de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arí de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Formation Pure Lyonnaise booed when Wakanda fv FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dino Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Soeiro couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Cyril Chevron with Davy Giacomoni as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Armandinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davy Giacomoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldemar Camargo was the one to do the kick off. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Wakanda fv FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 57 played minutes Wakanda fv FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Cardoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Camargo in the 60th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Gonçalves took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Armandinho Mattos stood somewhat misplaced when Davy Giacomoni came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Armandinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Martin Falaise. But to his dismay, Martin Falaise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gaspard Letourneux's late challenge caught a Wakanda fv FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspard Letourneux helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Formation Pure Lyonnaise getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gaspard Letourneux hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Armandinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Gaspard Letourneux. But to his dismay, Gaspard Letourneux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Wakanda fv FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes in the game, Mohamed-Ali Duparc fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Armandinho Mattos having to interfere. Armandinho Mattos was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Davy Giacomoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davy Giacomoni really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Davy Giacomoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
