The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Justino Kimetz's late challenge caught a Que se abra o mar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Kimetz helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes The Hanging Tree got a freekick which was hit by Frederico lago. When Tato Vega came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Que se abra o mar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tato Vega couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, The Hanging Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Lando Norin came free, but Jacinto Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Hanging Tree getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Frederico lago hit a great ball. Hayrullah Atikoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Perez hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jacinto Panpili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lando Norin went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Tato Vega notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Hanging Tree's Jacinto Panpili. Jacinto Panpili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lando Norin took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Panpili. Jacinto Panpili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 34 played minutes The Hanging Tree got a freekick which was hit by Frederico lago. In the 38th minute, Americo Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tato Vega took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Panpili. Jacinto Panpili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Lando Norin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Justino Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Tato Vega made the kick off in the second half. Tato Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Panpili having to interfere. If Tato Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Pimenta in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, The Hanging Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico lago to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match, Tato Vega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacinto Panpili was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jacinto Panpili came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega. But to his dismay, Tato Vega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 86 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Feliz came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Hanging Tree getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dwi Sunardi hit a great ball. Que se abra o mar made a substitution. Tomas Lewandowski replaced Tato Vega. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Tomas Lewandowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacinto Panpili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Van Elsen went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Que se abra o mar played a much better game than The Hanging Tree and deserved their victory. The The Hanging Tree players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
