Gordon Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Meira in the 24th minute of play. William Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Chinto in the 27th minute of play. Gordon Banks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poli Puyol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
