The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Tough and Tasty FC booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Ke Shi Bang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tough and Tasty FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cefero Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Hultman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Hultman scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmyr Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Calesso FC booed when Tough and Tasty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ke Shi Bang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Hultman came free, but Walmyr Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmyr Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Hultman in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Cefero Gala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Stefan Hultman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Walmyr Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Calesso FC's zone, Stefan Hultman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Bezerra came out of the goal and Stefan Hultman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny Sigman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Walmyr Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cefero Gala, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Cefero Gala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cefero Gala to strike the kick off in the second half. Calesso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Sonny Sigman scored to the left of an out of position Walmyr Bezerra, making the score, 0-5. In the 57th minute, Tough and Tasty FC's Stefan Hultman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. A collision led to Calesso FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Erasmo Valle hit a great ball. After 67 minutes Calesso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yao Ying Chen who took care of the corner kick. Yao Ying Chen made a great header on Tough and Tasty FC's corner, it was just that Calesso FC's Walmyr Bezerra managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th minute, Cefero Gala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Erasmo Vasconcelos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tough and Tasty FC's Evert Ros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Calesso FC's Walmyr Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Calesso FC from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes in the game, Cefero Gala fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Walmyr Bezerra having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Tough and Tasty FC's Stefan Hultman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmyr Bezerra. Walmyr Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Stefan Hultman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cefero Gala in the 86th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Hultman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walmyr Bezerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Stefan Hultman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Calesso FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cefero Gala fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Tough and Tasty FC's Walmyr Bezerra threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cefero Gala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
