Pedro Paulo Paraíba started the match with the kick off. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calesso FC's Walmyr Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Berbatov came free, but Walmyr Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Jeppe Tverskov. Walmyr Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 13th minute. FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 24 played minutes Calesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Valle. 26 minutes into the match Sindre Walle climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Walmyr Bezerra. Sindre Walle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Walmyr Bezerra made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Yulian Kichukov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Bezerra. Calesso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yulian Kichukov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Calesso FC defense, Sindre Walle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmyr Bezerra. The Calesso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmyr Bezerra should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmyr Bezerra. Walmyr Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Sindre Walles short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Walmyr Bezerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

FC Nordsjælland's Benjamin Nygren was substituted for Sindre Walle. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Nygren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Dimitar Berbatov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Walmyr Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitar Berbatov's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yulian Kichukov in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmyr Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitar Berbatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Jorginho Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calesso FC and the FC Nordsjælland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Calesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Andrade. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Nygren in the 73rd minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dimitar Berbatov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Bezerra was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitar Berbatov scored 8-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmyr Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benjamin Nygren came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Nygren couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Dimitar Berbatov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When the referee ended the match the FC Nordsjælland players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
