With an all-out effort, Stowe City's Magnus Hägglund threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emmanuel Stroh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Magnus Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Bingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stowe City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johnathan Haynes in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Bingham in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Hägglund saved Tough and Tasty FC from getting behind. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heliodoro Verdu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaj Helström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Tough and Tasty FC's Magnus Hägglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Tough and Tasty FC from getting a goal against them. Stowe City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johnathan Haynes in the 30th minute. Stowe City's Johnathan Haynes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Magnus Hägglund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st minute Jagad Banan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaj Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heliodoro Verdu in the 32nd minute of the match. İsmail Pekşen might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Hägglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İsmail Pekşen ran back to his position shaking his head. Emmanuel Stroh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Hägglund having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Leo Bingham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Magnus Hägglund. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half Tough and Tasty FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İsmail Pekşen to make the kick off. Kaj Helström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heliodoro Verdu in the 51st minute. Stowe City's Kaj Helström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Stowe City from getting a goal against them. Heliodoro Verdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Hägglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Bingham in the 64th minute of the match. Tough and Tasty FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yao Ying Chen in the 67th minute. Tough and Tasty FC's Magnus Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Pekşen in the 69th minute of play. Magnus Hägglund came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stowe City's Leo Bingham. But to his dismay, Leo Bingham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İsmail Pekşen in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Hägglund saved Tough and Tasty FC from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The audience was convinced that İsmail Pekşen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Hägglund was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Weston Armenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Hägglund having to interfere. Tough and Tasty FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Stowe City's much stronger midfield.
