Isaac Prutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Henryk, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Isaac Prutton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shao Wei Wei in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Zack Bye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zack Bye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Maule was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Godofredo Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benji Corby, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Isaac Prutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 47 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucumán's Shao Wei Wei made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Prutton was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zack Bye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sammy Toovey's late challenge caught a San Martin de Tucumán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Toovey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Sammy Toovey got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's Sean Hollingsworth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorking United FC's Isaac Prutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Ekeberg in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shao Wei Wei came free, but Isaac Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
