Godofredo Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murathan Oğuzbala in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Murathan Oğuzbala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godofredo Maule was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ahmet Danış Çiftçi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Gudesteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to San Martin de Tucumán getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jonas Loco hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, La Git! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bektaş Veli Tecmil to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldinho Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ahmet Danış Çiftçi made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Niklas Ekeberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Danış Çiftçi. Niklas Ekeberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Godofredo Maule came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by La Git!'s Wieslaw Kolano. But to his dismay, Wieslaw Kolano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 32 minutes into the match, La Git!'s goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Henryk came free, but Ahmet Danış Çiftçi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Leszek Henryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Kolano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Wieslaw Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wieslaw Kolano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Niklas Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ahmet Danış Çiftçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Maximo Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murathan Oğuzbala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Godofredo Maule made a huge save. Wieslaw Kolano struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Godofredo Maule didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Git!. In the 64th match minute, San Martin de Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. Murathan Oğuzbala in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Godofredo Maule, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Godofredo Maule made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murathan Oğuzbala in the 67th minute. Ahmet Danış Çiftçi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Wei Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The San Martin de Tucumán fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when San Martin de Tucumán's Shao Wei Wei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Godofredo Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Kolano in the 75th minute of the match. Godofredo Maule made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murathan Oğuzbala in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, La Git!'s goal looked a bit too open when Shao Wei Wei came free, but Ahmet Danış Çiftçi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, San Martin de Tucumán's Godofredo Maule got control of the ball when Baybars Berkman tried to sneak it across the goal line.
