A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dino Senna hit a great ball. Brazil Academy's Marcelo Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Ekeberg in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Lisandro Gudesteo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Mangueira. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 21st minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Shao Wei Wei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Mangueira. Brazil Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shao Wei Wei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Marcelo Mangueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Shao Wei Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Marcelo Mangueira made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Leszek Henryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rony Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that San Martin de Tucumán were the better team. San Martin de Tucumán's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
