The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Alupulesei. In the 12th minute, 莫震战 made a precise shot to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Igor Furgal scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Kliczek&Syn's Igor Furgal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 27th minute Kliczek&Syn were awarded a corner. Kajetan Gregorczyk went to the cornerflag to take it. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Podolski in the 28th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Kajetan Gregorczyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Arghirescu skillfully saved the ball. If Paolo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when 莫震战 came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Furgal to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Ungur. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Augustin Horea got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomir Podolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Nicu Arghirescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 65th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Radomir Podolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Nicu Arghirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kliczek&Syn made a substitution. Kant Spel replaced Kajetan Gregorczyk. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Laurențiu Iosub in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kliczek&Syn's Acep Abidin. In the 83rdth minute of the game Igor Furgal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Paolo Rossi scored to the left of an out of position Nicu Arghirescu, making the score, 0-8. After 92 played minutes Igor Furgal rounded Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. Acep Abidin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
