Paulo José Rocha took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Balesio. Rosendo Balesio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in AC Rangers's zone, Matias Blasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Balesio came out of the goal and Matias Blasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Rangers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cauan Salgado was slow to take the kick. During this time Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Hugo Cunha heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Cléber Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Neto in the 34th minute of play. Cléber Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wei De Ling went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when AC Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Rocha in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Balesio saved AC Rangers from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wei De Ling in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléber Souza saved Maxaranguape - FSCMZ from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arí Paiva got free with Rosendo Balesio in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th match minute, AC Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crispin Grassow to maneuver through the defense. AC Rangers's Tihomir Leustek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adrianinho Sabóia, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Cléber Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei De Ling in the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ defense, Wei De Ling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Souza. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Souza should have stopped the shot. Arí Paiva let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 73rd minute shot 2-2 at rihgt post. Rosendo Balesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Paiva went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Rosendo Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save AC Rangers from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the game, Hugo Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rosendo Balesio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arí Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Rosendo Balesio made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's Clodoveo Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cléber Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ defense, Clodoveo Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Souza. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Souza should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Maxaranguape - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC Rangers.
