The Wild Bunch's Henrik Belkå proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save The Wild Bunch from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the The Wild Bunch defense, Mikolaj Budzynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Belkå. The The Wild Bunch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Belkå should have stopped the shot.
KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save KS LEW Chorzów from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored KS LEW Chorzów's protests and gave Stefan Karwowski a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Wild Bunch's zone, Wieslaw Maziarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Belkå came out of the goal and Wieslaw Maziarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Maziarski in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute Wieslaw Maziarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Belkå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes The Wild Bunch's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wieslaw Maziarski who took care of the corner kick. Gerhard Vejs hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jacinto Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Wit Kasperowicz made a huge save. With 78 minutes on the clock, Juliusz Cuber commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolaj Budzynski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrik Belkå saved The Wild Bunch from getting behind. Elias Panling took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Kasperowicz. Wit Kasperowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zachariasz Niedbalski hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, The Wild Bunch's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Budzynski came free, but Henrik Belkå reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Wild Bunch played a much better game than KS LEW Chorzów and deserved their victory. The KS LEW Chorzów players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
