Arlindo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Nogueira in the 6th minute of play. Leonardo Nogueira took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Silva. Arlindo Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Diego Armando Junior's late challenge caught a Nankatsu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Armando Junior helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Armando Junior hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Samuel Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match Yalapa got a corner. Nankatsu SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olaf Gall ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute Leonardo Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harun Gökyüzü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Basri İhtiyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlindo Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Gall in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Tome in the 28th minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Arlindo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Nogueira in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yalapa's Leonardo Nogueira in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nankatsu SC's goalie prevented a goal. Yalapa were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Nankatsu SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olaf Gall took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cristo Izel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arlindo Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olaf Gall might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olaf Gall ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Edgardo Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Tome blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arlindo Silva having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Nogueira to make the kick off. Samuel Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Silva having to interfere. Leonardo Nogueira took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Silva. Arlindo Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Yalapa's Atilano Dino was substituted for Olaf Gall. 72 minutes into the game, Kunter Sevgen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Yalapa's Edward Jørnø quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kunter Sevgen made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Yalapa's Reto Knobel. After some careless play in the Nankatsu SC defense, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arlindo Silva. The Nankatsu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arlindo Silva should have stopped the shot. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Silva. Arlindo Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Nankatsu SC's Aykutalp User was substituted for Alper Evcimen. Nankatsu SC made a substitution. Serbülent Garipoğlu replaced Sahnoyan Şah. 84 minutes into the match, Nankatsu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı came free, but Arlindo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Edward Jørnø. The audience held their breath when Orestis Efthimiou in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Basri İhtiyar's left hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yalapa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
