Rodolfo Egoi started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Rodolfo Egoi made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Gustavson. New Joinville - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Angelo Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 11th minute Angelo Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Xande to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Gustavson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Gartzea in the 17th minute of the match. Gustavo Gustavson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea. But to his dismay, Placido Gartzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gustavo Gustavson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Obando to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas dos Santos in the 29th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gustavo Gustavson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Joinville - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teodor Ugúrchinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Rosario Central's players had a chance to rest. 32 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas dos Santos came free, but Gustavo Gustavson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Osasun came free, but Alvaro Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Segundo Ucieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allen Obando to make the kick off. Allen Obando hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Angelo Osasun hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Placido Gartzea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Gustavson, 1-3. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lucas Sjödin was substituted for Ronnie Xande. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Ateş Direnç was substituted for Allen Obando. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ateş Direnç kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rodolfo Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gustavo Gustavson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Gartzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Gustavo Gustavson made a huge save. After 77 minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodor Ugúrchinski who took care of the corner kick. In the 79th minute of the match, Placido Gartzea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustavo Gustavson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Teodor Ugúrchinski threw the ball into play from the sideline. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Sten Joamets quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 89th minute Angelo Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Douglas dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the game, Egon Holló was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Joinville - FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Egon Holló hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Urre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosario Central played a much better game than New Joinville - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The New Joinville - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
