The Atletico Patoruzu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 28thth minute of the game Gualterio Aguirre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Latorre in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Diego Latorre came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Atletico Patoruzu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Latorre couldn't finish the play. Anísio Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualterio Aguirre went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ezra Shepard's late challenge caught a Aster Brasil Futebol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezra Shepard helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aster Brasil Futebol Club booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezra Shepard didn't get a good kick on the ball.
