Karl-Åke Brummer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kajetan Rasialdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Claus's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Allan Björk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Björk in the 29th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Rasialdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Freytag, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Claus got free with Kajetan Rasialdo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Åke Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
