Giovanni Massa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Kajetan Rasialdo made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Gorzyczanka 1988 KS's Edgar Andrysiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clóvis Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Raymundo Hasche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kajetan Rasialdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Artur Sikora fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gorzyczanka 1988 KS's protests and gave Artur Sikora a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Massa got free with Kajetan Rasialdo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdo Prado's late challenge caught a Gorzyczanka 1988 KS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kajetan Rasialdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Hasche in the 93rd minute of play. A hard shot 95 in the game by Edgar Andrysiak from a close distance when the talented Clóvis Reis managed to make a qualified save. Leon Sport Club's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leon Sport Club had won after a very even match.
