The audience was convinced that Roque Claus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Barreto was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Lucjan Bejger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Barreto having to interfere. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erberk Tunçkol in the 23rd minute of play. If Albin Anundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute of the match, Roque Claus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mané Barreto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 36 minutes, Roque Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanzenkirchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albano Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Lucjan Bejger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mané Barreto. Lucjan Bejger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Roque Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mané Barreto made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Roque Claus took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Barreto. Flamengo Paraibano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané Barreto should have stopped the shot. Mané Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Claus in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Bejger in the 70th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Mané Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Roque Claus notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto. Mané Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. E. C.
