Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Federigo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Eriberto Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Gartxot in the 14th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Mané Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Gartxot went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Lizer came free, but Mané Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Lizer took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Barreto. Mané Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of QUASAR AZULGRANA booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Albano Piearres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and the QUASAR AZULGRANA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Albano Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Oscar Guerrero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Barreto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marco Federigo scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mané Barreto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by QUASAR AZULGRANA's Marco Federigo. But to his dismay, Marco Federigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 37 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Dantas. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Lizer in the 40th minute of play. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Marco Federigo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Humberto Gartxot made a precise shot to the right of Mané Barreto. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Federigo was the one to do the kick off. Mané Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Gartxot in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Federigo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Barreto saved E. C. Flamengo Paraibano from getting behind. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Marco Federigo sped through E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mané Barreto. After 58 minutes, Vivaldo Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and the QUASAR AZULGRANA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vivaldo Cunha hit a great ball. Jeronimo Isadore took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Barreto. Mané Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Mané Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Lizer in the 71st minute of the match. Mané Barreto made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Anier Gaspard sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 75 minutes, Albin Anundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Anundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Jefferson Ortiz was substituted for Jorginho Lago. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano made a substitution. Thomás Loureiro replaced Erberk Tunçkol. The supporters of QUASAR AZULGRANA booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute QUASAR AZULGRANA were awarded a corner. Mannie Calle went to the cornerflag to take it. Zdzislaw Kajdasz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Anier Gaspard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Mané Barreto made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Gaspard in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Barreto saved E. C. Flamengo Paraibano from getting behind. Jeronimo Isadore received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mané Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeronimo Isadore slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 91st minute. Humberto Gartxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Barreto having to interfere. QUASAR AZULGRANA played a much better game than E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and deserved their victory. The E. C. Flamengo Paraibano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
