In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Toribio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Laureano Avellaneda threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zorros del Desierto's Cai Jian Chang quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Concetto Mare struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rodrigo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. In the 23rd minute Theocharis Vrachos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Guacho Pistola's Rodrigo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Mare in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Concetto Mare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Toribio, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Mare in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Toribio saved Los Guacho Pistola from getting behind. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladan Leszczynski in the 34th minute of play. When Vladan Leszczynski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Clark Kent was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Concetto Mare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Toribio was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Anacleto Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Guacho Pistola's zone, Concetto Mare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Toribio came out of the goal and Concetto Mare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Guacho Pistola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! 46 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Theocharis Vrachos came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Mare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Concetto Mare took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Toribio. Rodrigo Toribio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cai Jian Chang hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Vladan Leszczynski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clark Kent was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Jonathan Lepe replaced Concetto Mare. When Zorros del Desierto's Jonathan Lepe in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Lepe ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Lepe in the 76th minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Los Guacho Pistola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Zuid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Lepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
